What are personal subject pronouns?

Personal subject pronouns replace the subject of a sentence—the person or thing doing the action. Instead of repeating the same noun over and over, we use subject pronouns I, you, he, she, it, we, and they to make our sentences smoother.

Here is a sentence without personal pronouns:
“Lisa went to the shop because Lisa wanted to buy Lisa’s favourite snack for Lisa.” 😯

The same sentence with personal pronouns:
Lisa went to the shop because she wanted to buy her favourite snack for herself. 😉

The sentence is much more natural and smooth.
